We call ourselves Arms of Love because we believe that actions speak louder than words and as Christians, we are called to be the arms of love to those in need. Our goal in pastoring is not so much to grow a big church, but to grow big people.
To be the salt of Rio Rancho by feeding the hungry, replenishing the thirsty, welcoming the strangers, clothing the naked, and visiting the sick and imprisoned.

"These men who have turned the world upside down have come here also!" That is what the Jewish leaders said in Acts 17:6 about Paul and Barnabas while they were in Thessalonica. Could anyone say that about you? Should they?
Let me start with the first question, "Could anyone say that about you?" Well first off it is important to know WHAT it is they are saying. I'll re-translate the Greek in a way that is closer, "The ones who cause people to stand up are here!" These Jews were upset because Christians were causing people to stop accepting that life is just the way it is. The Jewish leaders had found a way to thrive on both the government and God's people. So, when Christians were not only saying there was a better way but, were also living in a better way it brought Christ into the world and Christ is a challenge. One of my favorite thoughts about Christ always being a challenge to the world is found in the baby Jesus story. Just His mere existence, without a word being spoken from His lips, caused a king to massacre an entire generation of children. Do you think Christ causes a challenge?
Now should people say "that" about you? Unquestionably the answer is always YES! We should all be living a life that exemplifies Jesus every day, in every situation. Think about your life; if you don't see people being challenged by Christ in you, it's time for a change. Ask God to reshape you like wet clay in His hands to be a better example of Christ to the world around you.
May the Holy Spirit abundantly anoint, and exceedingly enable you, to act!
