Rio Rancho Foursquare Church

Welcome to Arms of Love Fellowship

We call ourselves Arms of Love because we believe that actions speak louder than words and as Christians, we are called to be the arms of love to those in need. Our goal in pastoring is not so much to grow a big church, but to grow big people.

Our Mission

To be the salt of Rio Rancho by feeding the hungry, replenishing the thirsty, welcoming the strangers, clothing the naked, and visiting the sick and imprisoned.

Weekly Pastor's Corner

January 31, 2010 by Pastor Cookie Leonardelli

Have you ever really thought about some of the "love"messages that Jesus shared? We are all familiar with loving our neighbor as ourself, love covering a multitude of sin, but what about love in action? How often does the church of today determine appropriate behaviors based on how we think a "good Christian" should act? Based on our unspoken set of rules, how many believers have kept sin hidden to avoid be judged and found wanting by the brethren? A friend of mine recently shared an insight that spoke profoundly to me. She said, "Church is a hospital, not a country club". Wow! You mean we should actually be able to bring our broken hearts to the church for healing?Does this mean that our outfit isn't as important as our "infit"? In Mark 2:16-17 Jesus shows us another behavior to emulate.(vs16)"And when the scribes and Pharisees saw Him eating with the tax collectors and sinners, they said to His disciples, "How is it that He eats and drinks with tax collectors and sinners?" (vs17) When Jesus heard it, He said to them,"Those who are well have no need of a physician, but those who are sick. I did not come to call the righteous, but sinners, to repentance." Jeepers! That sounds to me like the doctor is in and there's an appointment reserved for me! Praise God!
